At the upcoming European Peptide Symposium there will be five awards for poster presentations given by authors under the age of 30 or engaged in studies towards their doctoral degree.

The awards include:

• The Dr. Bert L. Schram Awards - Ttwo awards of US$500 each for the best poster presentations (sponsored by the ESCOM Science Foundation)
• Awards donated by the Rector of the University of Gdansk - Two awards of US$500 each
• Houben-Weyl Award donated by Thieme Chemistry

Poster authors wishing to participate in the Poster Competition should collect a sticker from the Scientific Secretariat at the Symposium and attach it to their posters. The awards will be presented at the Awards Ceremony on Thursday, September 7.
